I have worked in engineering companies and computer companies for over 20 years so you can
gather that I admit to being over 40. I have been lucky that, but for a 6
year stint, I have been in positions of management for all of my working
life. Recently I have started working for myself, working from home,
offering help & advice for people/small businesses with use, setup,
applications uses, and Internet information.
I have a degree, granted twenty odd years ago, at a Polytechnic in
Portsmouth, England. The subject of the degree is "Engineering With
Business Studies" which was, what they called at the time, a
"thick sandwich" course as you spent the third year of your four
year course gaining work experience in an industrial establishment. Of 23
people who were registered for the degree on the first day only 5 of us
got a pass.
I am also Fellow of the Institution of Analyst and Programmers. This
organisation is for Computer Analysis and Programmers offering a more
practical and less technical/theoretical ideals.
I am, as at mid-October, divorced with my wife leaving me, but
technically married at present, with one daughter.

Living on the south coast of England where I can hear the sea within
1/2 mile of here. I tend to be spoilt for local holiday attractions and
amenities as this area is regarded as holiday area.
